Mekong Matters: Development and the Mekong Delta

A Mekong Matters Journalism Network Workshop

The Mekong Delta in Southern Vietnam produces more than half of the country’s rice, and its land and water supports the lives of millions. But the delta is undergoing many changes due to climate change and challenges from upstream development such as increased infrastructure, modern farming practices, and irrigation projects. Are you a Mekong-area journalist who reports on social and environmental issues around development? Want to explore new angles to tell balanced stories about these issues?
