Nigeria unveils climate action policy at COP22, Marrakech
The Nigerian government in a delegation to COP22, led by the Minister of Environment Amina Mohammed has unveiled the country's action plans towards meeting its Nationally Determined Contributions, (NDCs) saying the Paris Agreement will be mainstreamed into national sustainable development efforts for speedy execution.
The Minister said policies to cut greenhouse emission and for adaptation, would be backed up with the necessary legislation.
