Can Lebanon Reach 12% Renewable Energy By 2020

In 2009, Lebanon pledged to produce 12% of its electricity from renewable sources by 2020. Is this target optimistic today? Lebanese Environment Minister Nazem Khoury re-announced the pledge at the COP18 climate change conference underway now in Doha, Qatar.

The Earth Journalism Network frequently organizes Fellowships for journalists eager to report from major environmental summits.
