Adele Santelli is an environmental journalist from São Paulo, Brazil currently working as a journalist fellow at the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism, at Oxford University, researching on "reporting on environmental stories: how to reach a bigger audience". She specializes in Environmental, Sustainability and Global Policies and is currently also researching on ocean plastic pollution as part of a master's degree program in Environmental Sciences at University of São Paulo. In 2019 she was a fellow for the CCMP - Climate Change Media Partnership from EJN.
She has worked in some of Brazil’s biggest broadcast outlets for the past 13 years. She currently works at TV Cultura and is a freelance reporter for National Geographic Brasil digital. Her main interest is to report on biodiversity conservation/loss and climate disruption.
