Anastasiia Bengard has 15 years of experience as a journalist. She writes about health, education, сlimate change and agriculture. She also has experience in data journalism. Anastasiia is from Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, where she works for 24.kg news agency. In 2022, she was awarded first place in a national competition among journalists in the “Environmental Protection” category. In 2024, she was awarded a CCMP Fellowship from the Earth Journalism Network to cover COP29 in Baku, Azerbaijan.
