Anh Thu Dinh
Anh Thu is a journalist based in Hanoi, Vietnam. She works at Tia Sang magazine, a trusted publication among intellectuals, policymakers, and business leaders in Vietnam. Her articles cover various topics such as biodiversity loss, the preservation of Indigenous knowledge, the rise of emerging pandemics, and water security in Vietnam. One of her articles was awarded the Second Prize for 'Pioneering Female Journalist for the Environment' in 2023 (co-hosted by VSF, IUCN, and sponsored by Earth Journalism Network). She wrote about the efforts of a cooperative in Ninh Binh (Vietnam) to support a village using traditional medicinal herbs. This cooperative provides a livelihood for the local people and helps sustainably conserve the rich plant species in the area. Anh Thu holds a Bachelor of Education degree in Linguistics and Literature from Ho Chi Minh City University of Education.
