Arianna Poletti is an Italian freelance journalist based in Tunisia, from where she has contributed to several international news outlets, such as New Lines Magazine, Al Jazeera, The New Arab, Geographical Magazine, Socialter, Alternatives Economiques, El País, Inkyfada, Lifegate, La Repubblica, Domani, L'Espresso and many others. Her fieldwork focuses on social, environmental and postcolonial issues between Europe and North Africa. She previously worked in France for Jeune Afrique magazine and is a member of the freelance collective Fada. She is the author of the award-winning podcast Fermata Nanterre, which portrays the migratory history of the Paris banlieue.
