Ange Banouwin has a decade of experience as a climate and environment journalist. He is based in Cotonou, Benin, West Africa. He covers topics related to the preservation of the environment, natural disasters, and environmental protection.He is passionate about investigative journalism and investigates issues related to the environment, climate and biodiversity.

Banouwin is a freelance journalist, and has been media manager for several media and magazines and collaborates with organizations that promote quality journalism. In 2022, he published an investigation on coastal resilience in the Gulf of Guinea, particularly in Benin and Togo, on the implementation of a cross-border coastal protection project between the two countries, with the support of Internews' Hearth Journalism Network. He also published an article on the environmental pollution created by the disputed plots in Benin; another on the causes of flooding and also on the impacts of containment due to the Covid-19, on the regeneration of the environment.
