Biography
Boonyanin Pakvisal is currently a reporter with the Southeast Asia Globe based in Bangkok, Thailand. She focuses on stories related to economic development, governance, and sustainability in the region. Established in 2007, the Southeast Asia Globe is an online publication with a mission to cover stories for “a more informed, inclusive, and sustainable future”. Boonyanin joined the Globe last year as an editorial intern and became a full-time reporter.
Recently, she has received an environmental reporting grant from the Stockholm Environment Institute. She has lived in Bangkok and the Hague. Before becoming a journalist, Boonyanin studied at Leiden University College with a Bachelor’s degree in ‘Governance, Economics, and Development.'
