Bruna Obadowski is a geographer from the Federal University of Mato Grosso and has a master's in contemporary culture studies in the line of research of communication and cultural mediations from the same institution. She is a journalist associated with the National Federation of Journalists (FENAJ) and lives in Cuiabá (MT) in the Legal Amazon.

She is the founder of the independent journalism website A Lente, where she has worked in the Culture, Environment and Human Rights section since 2017. She is the founder of the Communication and Culture Laboratory A Lente (LabCom) in Chapada dos Guimarães (MT). In 2021 she was part of the COP26 coverage team by Mídia Ninja. In 2022 she became a Pulitzer Center fellow with the Rainforest Journalism Fund program, where she investigated the advancement of agribusiness in Indigenous lands.

As a freelance photographer, she has works published in National Geographic, O Globo, Info Amazônia, Repórter Brasil, Carta Capital, Mídia Ninja, BBC Brasil, among others. Bruna Obadowski is also an audiovisual producer in Mato Grosso, with signed productions in television programs, in addition to films and short films. In 2023, the documentary that she produced, "Sobre Elas," produced for Canal Off, received 10 international awards.
