Biography

Chemtai Kirui is an Environmental and Science Journalist based in Nairobi, the capital city of Kenya. She is a trained Journalist and Communications personnel, and an alumni of Moi University, Kenya.Chemtai covers Wildlife and Conservation Matters for Kass Media, a multimedia broadcast House. Chemtai currently works at a Community based Media House in Kenya, as an Environmental Journalist, a position that she has been in for the last 5 years. During that time, she been able to interact with conservationists and policy makers on ways to spearhead Conservation projects in daily life.
Chemtai has also participated and in internal and external training courses offered by Conservation Organisations, amongst them Earth Journalism Network, WWF and Animal Wildlife Protection.
