Dale C. Elliott is a Saint Lucian Journalist and Communication Specialist. He is also the Founder and Managing Director of The Independent Film Company, Inc. The company’s pièce de résistance is a social transformation and behavioural change documentary series entitled UNTOLD STORIES which entered its 11th season in 2022. As of 2022 there are 168 documentaries covering topics that include health, finance, climate change and the environment, crime, agriculture, wildlife, arts, politics and culture.

Elliott is the Creative Director of numerous communication strategies, television commercials and PSAs, and has lasting partnerships with brands including but not limited to DIGICEL (Saint Lucia), FLOW (Saint Lucia), MMotors (BMW), International Organisation Migration (IOM), Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management (CDEMA), Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre (CCCCC), Media Institute of the Caribbean (MIC). 

Elliott has taken multiple professional development courses with media institutions including the Monroe College (Saint Lucia Campus), and the Association of Caribbean Media Workers. Elliott is also fellow of the Media Institute of the Caribbean.  Over the years both Elliott and his Company have received several awards, the most notable of which are OECS Clean Oceans Journalists’ Challenge (2021), the coveted People’s Choice Award from the Saint Lucia Chamber of Commerce (2019), Prime Minister’s Award for Innovation from the Saint Lucia Chamber of Commerce (2016), Most Outstanding Journalist from the Caribbean Congress of Community Practitioners in Barbados (2016 and 2015), Idea of the Year Award from the Saint Lucia Chamber of Commerce (2015), and the Most Innovative Film Maker from the Piton Film Festival in Saint Lucia (2014).
