Biography

Iliana Cornejo is a journalist from El Salvador who has worked for Diario El Mundo for eight years. She has written for the paper’s political section for two and a half years, covering El Salvador’s presidency, the Legislative Assembly, the Institute for Access to Public Information, the Court of Audit, and the Supreme Court of Justice. She has been the editor of Diario El Mundo’s National section for six years, working with sources from the judiciary, the Attorney General's Office, the National Civil Police, and human rights organizations.
