Biography

Jose Sanchez is a freelance journalist in Belize, Central America. He has written for Reuters and is also the recipient of a Thomson Reuters fellowship. Those stories are based on national issues for an international audience. In Belize, his video stories focus mostly on work done with conservation organizations who focus on coastal communities and forested areas that depend upon the environment for livelihoods.
