Juan David is an environmental and science journalist born in Bogotá (Colombia) and based in Barcelona (Spain) since 2018.
Between 2012 and 2017, Juan David produced content related to climate emergency, biodiversity and corporate social responsibility for the national broadcaster of Colombia. In 2015 he obtained a national grant to cover COP21 from Paris.
Juan David has been journalist consultant for the UNESCO Chair on Sustainability, WWF Colombia and CAR Cundinamarca. In 2021 he started Carijonas, an independent digital media that covers endangered marine life, diminishing biodiversity in local territories and climate migration.
