Juliet Akoth Ojwang is a journalist with experience telling stories about the environment, climate change, gender, health, and ICT & Innovation spanning five years. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Media Studies from Egerton University and is currently writing for Talk Africa as a freelance correspondent. She is also an enthusiast of solutions-based journalism and has been awarded several biodiversity and climate change story telling grants, producing several impactful stories as a result. In line with this, she is also an award-winning journalist having emerged as a finalist under the media category at the Kenya SDGs Awards 2022. The story that earned her the nomination was about the Yala swamp, a wetland in Western Kenya, that was produced with the support of EJN. Her other articles have been published in People Daily, Mt. Kenya Times Newspaper, Nakuru Times Newspaper and The Star.
