Biography
Kim Harrisberg is a Southern African correspondent with the Thomson Reuters Foundation based in Johannesburg. She covers a range of human rights topics including the impacts of climate change, technology and inequality on society. She has reported on these themes from a range of countries for the last four years including Botswana, Namibia, Mozambique and Kenya and enjoys the challenge and independence of being a one woman show, conducting interviews, taking photos and sometimes filming for online and social media. Prior to working with the Thomson Reuters Foundation she produced TV stories for Health-e News, South Africa's oldest health news services, was a freelancer for a few years and completed her Masters degree in African Studies at the University of Cambridge.
