Klaire Ting has been a reporter for three years at independent non-profit Manila-based online media outlet VERA Files. She has written stories funded by the World Health Organization on road safety and environment-related stories under an Internews grant, which ended in 2019. For nearly two years, she has been one of Facebook's third-party fact-checkers. Currently, she is reporting, among others, stories under the Bloomberg Philanthropies grant which focuses on health, specifically on the consumption of heated tobacco products.
