Biography
María Camila is an environment and science journalist with roughly one year of experience. She is based in Bogotá, Colombia, where she works at El Espectador, Colombia's oldest and second-biggest newspaper. She has covered and is interested in climate change, energy transition biodiversity loss, conservation strategies and how policies have approached Colombia's main issues, such as deforestation. She has worked on stories regarding GMO's and alien invasive species, and how misinformation has infiltrated what science has to say about these topics.
