Biography

Romer “Bong” Sarmiento is a Filipino freelance journalist based in the southern Philippine island of Mindanao. His field of interests include reporting about the environment, war and peace, business, human rights, travel and culture. He is currently the vice chair of the Mindanao Institute of Journalism.
