Biography

Siti Masudah Isnawati is a journalist who has worked at Suara Merdeka Daily Newspaper since 2009. Based in Pekalongan, Indonesia, she completed her undergraduate education in Communication Studies at Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta. Having an interest in data journalism, Isnawati has reported mostly on environmental issues including climate change, health, energy and forestry. She has won a number of Indonesian journalism awards for her work. One of her notable reports was about the tidal flood in Central Java that impacted women’s health.
