Biography

Engly Tuy (Sakura) is a freelance journalist for CamboJA and Voice of Democracy, independent media outlets in Cambodia. She has over seven years of experience in journalism and has worked with many major newspapers, online news, digital advertising, sales, and marketing organizations. She is also a member of CamboJA and Cambodian Female Journalist Network (CFJ), and also

Engly graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Tourism & hospitality and English for Administration. In 2013 she had an opportunity to join The Phnom Penh as a circulation supervisor, event organizer, sales & marketing, and assistant to socialite reporter before she shited her career into a lifestyle reporter.

In 2017, she worked with Khmer Times as a lifestyle reporter, photographer, and Sales & Marketing. She joined a 2019 professional Journalism training at Newsroom Cambodia, under the Cambodia Center Independence Media (CCIM), which has inspired her to report on politics, the environment, human rights, and human rights.
