Biography

Yogi is a news correspondent for CNN Indonesia. He has been working as a TV journalist since 2006. His specialty is producing investigative, in-depth news coverage & documentary stories with a main interest in environmental issues. He is an experienced journalist who has covered stories on illegal palm oil plantation inside Indonesia's national parks, illegal shark hunting & trading, elephant tusk poaching, Sumatran tiger hunters, among others. Yogi has also made a documentary about The Sinking of The North Coast of Java and the peoples who is suffer because of it. His mission is to create stories and convey facts about environmental problems in Indonesia. In 2015, Yogi also reported on  COP21 as his duty to spread the facts of the Paris agreement to Indonesian viewers. Recently, Yogi wants to deliver a message about environmental issues through the documentary film. The last (short) documentary film he directed, Let Me Drown First has been granted “Special Mention of The Urban Climate Crisis Jury” in Megacities Short-Docs Festival 2021 and Unified Filmmakers Festival Official Selection in 2022.
