COP29: final stretch to reach agreements on pending global warming issues
In its closing week, the summit in Baku has relegated other relevant issues to face the consequences of the climate crisis. One of them is the transition to other types of energy to stop using fossil fuels such as oil, an agreement that was worked on at last year's COP. Also on the pending agenda is mitigation to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
