Indonesia Fears COP29 Negotiations Will End with Rule 16
Various countries have expressed concerns that the issue of a new target for the climate fund will not be agreed, two days before the end of COP29 Baku.
The Indonesian delegation, which is a member of the G77+China group of countries, stated that the negotiation situation was long and tough and there were signs that there would be an agreement.
"As usual when it comes to commitments related to finance, the process of negotiations tends to be slow and complex. All negotiators are still struggling," said Wahyu Marjaka, one of Indonesia's negotiators from the Ministry of Environment, to Dewi Safitri at the COP29 arena, Baku.
