Mathatisi is an investigative Journalist with keen interest in climate change, environment, business and human rights. She is based in Lesotho and works for a weekly print media called Public Eye Newspaper. She recently wrote a story on the country's outdated land laws that are threatening Lesotho's efforts to restore degraded lands and mitigate climate change impacts. The story was published by Public Eye and Climate Tracker. Mathatisi holds an Associate Degree in Journalism and media and has been practicing for the past five years. In 2020 she won a Dry Lands fellowship from Climate Tracker. In 2020 she received an award from Ministry of Science and Communication for best stories published during Covid-19. In 2021 she was awarded an investigative fellowship from Investigative Journalist Hub.
